This policy covers shopss.me and its portfolio pages. SHOPSS CS is shown as in development, SHOPSS Prism is publicly available through the Figma Community, and Sentinel for VS Code is publicly available through the Visual Studio Marketplace. The website does not distribute those platform builds directly. Featured software may have separate platform notices where applicable.
Information used to serve the website
When you request a page or asset, your browser sends ordinary network information such as your IP address, requested path, timestamp, browser/user-agent headers, and response information. SHOPSS uses this information to deliver the site, troubleshoot failures, and protect the service.
The website is hosted on a DigitalOcean VPS and served with Nginx. Nginx and the hosting environment may maintain operational and security logs containing request metadata. SHOPSS uses those logs only for site delivery, troubleshooting, abuse prevention, and security, and keeps them only as long as reasonably needed under the server's rotation and operational settings. DigitalOcean processes infrastructure information as a service provider.
No portfolio-site analytics or advertising scripts
The current portfolio site does not set its own cookies, use browser storage, include advertising, or load third-party analytics or embedded media. Following an external link causes your browser to contact that independent destination.
When you contact SHOPSS
If you email privacy@shopss.me, SHOPSS receives your email address and the information you choose to provide. The email service used for that mailbox processes the message so it can be delivered. Correspondence is kept while needed to answer the request and, when reasonably necessary, to document how the request was handled or meet a legal obligation.
Do not send passwords, access tokens, authentication codes, or unrelated sensitive information.
Recipients and retention
SHOPSS uses service providers only where needed to operate the site and communications, including DigitalOcean for hosting and the email provider for privacy@shopss.me. Information may also be disclosed where required by law or necessary to protect the service and its users.
The current portfolio site does not sell personal information and does not use cross-site behavioral advertising. Website request logs follow the operational-retention criteria described above.
Access, correction, and deletion
Contact privacy@shopss.me to request access, correction, or deletion of information SHOPSS holds about you, or to exercise another right available under applicable law. Tell us which SHOPSS service your request concerns. SHOPSS may request proportionate information needed to verify the request.
Requests concerning information held independently by Discord, Overwolf, Figma, Microsoft, DigitalOcean, or another platform must also be directed to that provider where appropriate.
Location, security, and audience
SHOPSS is operated from the United States. Service providers may process information in locations where they operate. SHOPSS uses safeguards appropriate to the information processed, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.
SHOPSS services are not directed to children under 13. Third-party platforms referenced by SHOPSS may have their own age and eligibility requirements. Contact privacy@shopss.me if you believe information about a child requires attention.
Policy updates
SHOPSS updates this policy when its practices materially change and will show the effective date above. Where applicable law requires additional notice or consent before new processing begins, SHOPSS will provide it.
